WHAT SHALL WE TASTE?

There is no end of ideas for which wines to taste. Some themes you might care to think about are:

New world/old world – where wines from the ‘Old’ world are compared to their counterparts from the ‘New’ world.

Wines from specific countries such as France, Spain or Italy.

Port – you will taste white, tawny, ruby and Vintage Ports.

Champagne – always ending up with Dom Perignon or Krug!

Comparison of grapes such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon.

Specialised regions within a country such as Rioja (Spain), claret (France) and Burgundy (France).
